After you log a brew, BrewSensai sends your brew details (grind, ratio, temperature, notes, and extraction score) to Google's Gemini AI. The AI analyses what likely went wrong — or right — and explains it in plain language, without the jargon.
AI features require a network connection.
Point your camera at a coffee bag label and BrewSensai will read the origin, roast level, and tasting notes automatically. The photo is sent to Google's Gemini Vision API for processing and is not stored by us.
For best results: good lighting, hold the bag flat, and make sure the label text is in focus.
It's a scale from −100 to +100. Zero means perfectly extracted coffee. Negative numbers mean under-extracted (sour, weak, hollow). Positive numbers mean over-extracted (bitter, harsh, dry).
You rate it yourself based on taste — BrewSensai then uses the score to explain what happened and how to fix it next time.
No — AI access is included for all users. You don't need to set anything up.
If you ever run into an AI usage limit or something stops working, just email us at info@brewsensai.com and we'll sort it out.
Go to Settings → Account and tap "Delete account". This permanently deletes all your beans, brews, and account data. It cannot be undone.

Try these steps first:

Still stuck? Use the contact form above with a description of what happened and we'll sort it out.
BrewSensai works with any manual brew method — pour over, immersion, AeroPress, French press, and more. The recipe generator is optimised for drip-style brewers including the Hario Switch, Deep27, and B75, but the brewing advice works for any method you log.
